TESTIMONIALS for Analytical Spanish Made Easier:
“I learned more “Spanish in 2 weeks from Mr. Hoover than I learned all last year from another teacher.” Chris (1985)
"This is the easiest Spanish format I have ever seen. We are presented verb forms and instantly use them in intelligent Spanish. We’re not ‘bogged down’ with a lot of grammar.” Bill (1995)
“Mr. Hoover’s system opened the Spanish language to me so quickly and easily. He gave me the ‘key’ and I opened the door.” Khalil (1997)
“I was standing in a DMV line reading “EL ESPAÑOL ANALÍTICO HECHO MÁS FÁCIL”. Someone from a previous class recognized the book and said that it was the clearest explanation of “how to” speak Spanish.” Kathy (1997)
“I showed “EL ESPAÑOL ANALÍTICO HECHO MÁS FÁCIL” to a Mexican with whom I work at a hospital. He was very impressed with its concise and meaningful content.” Laurie (1997)
“Although I am not fluent yet, in 2 semesters of Mr. Hoover’s night class, I really “understand” how to speak Spanish. Many people have been amazed at my rapid increase in speaking, especially since 9 months before, I spoke ‘NO’ Spanish.” Cory (1997)
“While I am already fluent in Spanish, (my mother is Cuban and my father is Mexican), I have seen Mr. Hoover use his method to teach beginning non-Spanish-speaking 9th and 10th graders to advance in Spanish 2 to 3 times as fast as students did in my former high school.” Vanessa (1998)
“I had taken other Spanish classes in the past but had dropped out because of frustration. Mr. Hoover’s Spanish makes sense!” Maria (1998)

PREFACE
The course you are about to embark on has the best teacher you have ever known---You! As you are reading this, you are probably saying or thinking, “I can never really speak a foreign language WELL.” BUT YOU ARE WRONG! IF YOU SPEAK English, you have already taught yourself a “foreign” language. Don’t you remember when all you could say was “da-da” and “goo-goo”? This positive understanding of your self-teaching abilities is ESSENTIAL!
Another absolute essential you must have or work on having is the willingness to make mistakes and then learn from them. “No one can laugh ‘at’ me, but they can ‘laugh’ with me.” I will show you how you can converse quickly in comprehendable Spanish, but then be constructively corrected.
You need to utilize a basic Spanish-English dictionary as well as our book and or any other reader, along with songs, etc. Another thing, presuming that you are around Spanish-speaking people, it is HIGHLY recommended that you have at least one Spanish-speaking “confidante”. (The more the merrier.) In a true sense, this person will be an additional teacher, but you are still the PRIMARY teacher. You can bounce off this person additional expressions and words you wish to learn.
And now, on to the course…
