                                                         -Chris

                                                    1. I can't open the Living Waters Spanish homepage.
First, make sure that you are connected to the internet.

Next, confirm that your web browser is up-to-date. This site supports Internet Explorer 7+, Firefox 2+, Opera, and Safari. I recommend Firefox. Download the latest version using the button on the right.

Lastly, double-check the address that you're entering. This page's address is livingwatersspanish.weebly.com rather than livingwaterspanish.weebly.com.

                                                    2. The homepage does not display correctly or contains errors.
First, make sure that you have the latest version of Java software using the button on the right.

Second, if you are using the NoScript Firefox addon, remember to allow this site to run JavaScript.

                                                    3. Pages on the site are blank.
Not to worry: The Living Waters Spanish web site is being worked on and improved regularly. Some pages have been left blank intentionally.

                                                    4. I've purchased the curriculum, but I don't see an option to play the slide presentations.
Curriculum slide presentations are hosted at the following sites: www.livingwatersspanish1.weebly.com
                                                    www.livingwatersspanish2.weebly.com
                                                    www.livingwatersspanish3.weebly.com

After your purchase, you should receive an email from Mr. Riegg containing the password to the site for your course-level.

                                                    5. I can't play/see the slide presentations on the web site.
There are several possible reasons for this:
                                                    1) Your internet security program is not allowing the triangle to come up but is constantly trying to access slides. Solution: Change your internet security to allow these presentations.
                                                    2) Your computer uses linux or other uncommon operating system. Solution: Download and install the appropriate patches for the presentations to play.
                                                    3) You use dial-up or satellite internet service that is either slow or sporadic. Solution: Change services.
                                                    4) Other? Please email ipreachjesus@gmail.com for help.
                                                    6. I can't open Word (.doc or .docx) files.
.doc Word files should run in all versions of Word. If you have Word 2003 and are trying to open a .docx file, you need to download Microsoft's compatibility pack.

If you do not have Word, you need to download Microsoft's free Word Viewer. Word Viewer open both .doc and .docx files.

                                                    7.
I can't open PDF  (.pdf) files.
Download Foxit Reader using the button on the right.

                                                    8. How can I see and hear the Bible in Spanish and English on-line?
You can search and read several Bibles side-by-side (in parallel)
                                                    BIBLEGATEWAY.COM by doing the following:

                                                    1.      Go to the Passage Search page (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/)
                                                    2.      Under 'Select Version,' click "Lookup passage(s) in multiple versions". Choose the Bibles you want to search.
                                                    3.      Enter the passage you want to look up and click "Look up Passage" to perform your search.
                                                    4.      On the resulting page, look for the "Layout: Rows / Columns” link.
                                                    5.      Choose "Columns," and the search results will be displayed in a parallel, side-by-side view.

READ AND LISTEN AT THE SAME TIME:
Yes, you can listen to a Bible passage while you’re reading it. To do so, follow these steps:

                                                    1.      Look up the Bible passage you want to read/hear by entering it in the ‘Quicksearch’ box on the BibleGateway.com homepage and clicking ‘Search the Bible’. The resulting page shows you the text of the Bible passage you searched for.
                                                    2.      Directly above the passage is a row of gray buttons. Click on the ‘Listen to this passage’ button (the one with the picture of a speaker on it, second from the right). If this button is shaded out, audio is not available for this particular Bible.
                                                    3.      The audio for the passage will begin playing.

You can also see a list of available audio Bible here: http://www.biblegateway.com/resources/audio/.
